if you think people who were assigned female at birth discussing the effects that assignment had on their lives or acknowledging their secondary sexual characteristics = misgendering themselves… it just tells me that you still equate sex/genitals to gender tbh :/
fuck you

Recreated a hannibal meme because I couldn't stop laughing thinking of this.
"Misandry/androphobia isn't real" is such a funny thing to say to a former misandrist/androphobe who realized how fucked up it is to hate an entire group of people based on circumstances outside their control
Instead of like. Perhaps. Reasonable caution when interacting with them, just in case. But not making it their problem
"Misandry/androphobia" as in "I'm oppressed because women don't want to fuck me": not real
"Misandry/androphobia" as in assigning inherent immorality to an entire group of people based on their identity instead of active choices and then treating them like shit when they just exist around you and take up space and talk about their problems: real. I have been on both ends of this.
Bigotry ≠ oppression. You can face interpersonal bigotry without being oppressed. However, denying people safe spaces because they make you "uncomfortable" is oppressing them. They, personally, did not do anything to you.
When does "I'm just dishing back what they're dishing out" reach a point where it's finally equal? How many people must die until you think it's "fair"?
Two snakes biting eachother's tails... I hurt you, you hurt me, I hurt you, you hurt me, I hurt you, you hurt me... When does it end?
Lmao I was banned for this post. They are deleting all comments and posts hyping up transmascs/trans men and those calling for accountability. Keep posting and show them that TRFs and femcels and their hate do not belong in the trans community.
I also suggest leaving that group as a sign of solidarity.
there are moral panics about transmasc transitioning as teens preciesly because they are more likely to transition young in the first place. transfems are already barred from transitioning at the age to begin with. you are only beginning to get the same treatment trans women already have.
You’re either uninformed, an idiot, or both. But to be fair, I didn’t provide the original article. So I’ll do that now.
Rising testosterone use among adolescent females should prompt a Canadian reassessment of pediatric gender-affirming medical care
Feel free to read this wonderful, totally not transphobic article written by a hack and a grifter!
Now let’s talk about why you’re wrong.
For the longest time, trans mascs were actually NOT more likely to transition than trans women.
On top of being the first group of trans people to be recognized, studied, and researched, trans women have also historically been the most likely group to receive gender affirming care.
In fact, the article I just linked is explicitly using this historically established existence of trans women TO ARGUE AGAINST the necessity of providing equal care to trans men.
The article’s argument is that this increase of trans masculine people is unnatural, concerning, and/or the result of something which should require the explicit withholding of gender affirming care for trans mascs, while the moderate increase in trans women proves that they should be taken more seriously.
This is a trans woman who wrote this btw. This is a trans woman who works as a DOCTOR, and who is using her authority to advocate against trans people, because a transphobic GRIFT that still justified her existence was more important than using her authority to do genuine research.
The fact that your knee jerk reaction was to call ME out, when you have trans people out here loudly and proudly advocating against my rights to healthcare, is rancid.
The moral panic you are citing as being due to the higher likelihood of trans boys transitioning young , when compared to trans girls, is NOT as you put it, because of barriers trans girls face. Rather, it seems to be that young FtMs are CATCHING UP in numbers to trans girls.
Introduction: The number of individuals seeking sex hormone therapy for gender dysphoria has been increasing. The prevalence gender dysphori
The prior recorded existence of trans women is AND HAS REPEATEDLY BEEN used by academic and medical institutions to delegitimize the existence of trans men.
The prior recognition of trans women is EXPLICITLY leveraged to paint the equalizing numbers of trans men as concerning and unnatural.
The prior documented research of trans women is being specifically compared to a group which these same institutions NEVER bothered to fucking understand in the first place, in order to argue that IT IS THEIR NATURAL PLACE TO BE MARGINALIZED IN THE TRANS COMMUNITY, and that the ONLY WAY for trans women to survive, is to make sure they stay that way.
It is so fucking insidious, and the only thing louder than the silence, is the trans community constantly chomping at the bit to prove that THEY are actually the ones who deserve all the empathy, as if empathy was a resource like oil that we have to all bomb each other over. It’s fucking pathetic. Get a grip.
I do not think trans men are all just victim birthday boys. I do not think trans men have it worse than trans women. I do not think we can accurately critique transphobia and misogyny if we are constantly trying to put our oppression on a hierarchy. In fact, the only way to move society forward is by abandoning the constant need to put everything on a hierarchical structure. So fuck off.
When I oppose the statement “trans men have it easier” , i am NOT implying that it is in fact trans women who have it easier. I am not claiming that trans men are more oppressed. And the fact that your gut reaction was to try and reassert your experience as being somehow above or below mine, is the exact kind of thing that causes us to throw each other under the bus.
Stop falling for propaganda and start learning about transphobia outside of what personally affects you.
