2: what band/ artist needs more love? cursive, this band called growing pains, serengeti (especially his recent 6e and ajai) uhhhh. oliver mtukudzi is beloved in africa but needs to get more airplay in the US, hes fucking awesome

4: what are your favorite subgenres of music? i dont even know what genres are anymore. this concept doesnt exist to me. the funnest to say is probably “freak folk” and “power electronics” though

Pretty straight. Maybe ace? I dunno, it’s hard to tell with the latter since I’ve never been in any kind of relationship…but like I definitely get awkward and uncomfortable when people casually talk about people they’d like to sleep with/hook-ups they’ve had/etc (not that it happens often). I don’t know if that’s just me being a more conservative person or not though

Honestly, probably when other people validate me. I haven’t been in a great headplace lately so it’s hard to remember the last time I felt even like 85% confident about something…

I barely shop for clothes but when I do I focus more on price/fit than brand. But there’s definitely a genre of stores I kinda avoid (any modern “young” ones, esp. ones that blast pop music) because my self-esteem is garbage and I feel like I don’t belong in those environments

Goddddd I don’t know… what even is my aesthetic?? If someone could tell me that I could probably maybe name a song. Although BNL’s Fake Nudes album gives good vibes; nice and soft, a faint sensation of longing but with emphasis on hope. You can find it on Spotify or as a playlist on their YouTube channel

I can also agree with that. If you’re heteroromantic/heterosexual and ace/aro you shouldn’t call yourself gay or queer, but I do think they should be a part of the lgbtq community. There’s some awful aro/ace people out there who say a lot of homophobic bullshit and I see so many people using that as ‘all aro/ace people are like this’ and just ???? straights use this logic against us and we know how much it hurts. Why are we doing it to them?
