Important: The following guide works for Linux 3.12.x. This version is very old and does not support all HiFiBerry cards. If you have upgraded to Kernel 3.18 or

Required modules config for using HiFiBerry DAC+ with PiMusicBox.

Then set:

output = hifiberry_dacplus mixer = alsamixer [alsamixer] card = 0 control = Digital

Spotify on a raspberry pi!

So instead of working tonight, I decided to finally do one of the projects I had in mind with my raspberry pi: use it to play music and control that music with my phone! Still have some work to do to be 100% satisfied, but still, at least it's working :)
