so the story is this:

Pin, born Palika, is the oldest son of Empress Dea and Emperor Lucian Kodix in the empire of Mirraelia. When he was 16, the temple came to his father and told him his oldest son was to be their cities protector and must be trained by the temple to fulfill his role. Pin refused, as he did not know when he would return, but was forced anyways leaving behind his siblings- Navi and Avis, 14 year old twins, and Cato, barely a year old. The temple was not in fact that of a Moon God, and was instead that of a demon tricking the priests into believing it was holy. The text and scripture describing the ritual of creating a protector were a ruse in order for the demon to gain a living host. The ritual went up in flames, literally, as Pin fought an internal battle against the demons control. Overcome with anger for the people who made him into this, he destroyed the temple. Even so, the demon still had most of the control and razed the Empire to the ground. Pin had slaughtered his family along with every other living being, even as they begged him to stop. When he finally gained control and the original demon was destroyed, the power was passed onto him and he finally realized what he had done. In shame, Pin used his new found power to flee not only the remnants of his city, but that dimension. Throughout the centuries he gained control of his power and made peace with his past- finding a new name for himself as Pin- his childhood nickname.

However, little did he know, (👀), not everyone was killed in his rampage. A few of the temples higher members survived and decided that in order to destroy the monster they had created, they would create another of equal power that was fully under their control. Can you see where this is going? They found the remains of Navi, the second oldest son, in the rubble and resurrected him using the same ritual of power. All that Navi felt in his new waking life was anger towards the brother who had killed everyone he had ever loved and the people who had brought that destruction into the world.

So Navi killed the rest of the temple members (karma) and went on a century long, cross-dimensional hunt for his brother who was by now just chillin in the countryside with his gf.

Blah blah blah emotional turmoil and fraternal battle with Pin gaining the upperhand and apologizing to his brother for leaving him behind. Navi was salty still and grumbled off to live in his friends attic. Now he's just a grumpy uncle with a brooding aesthetic, does drugs bc hes immortal what are they gonna do, kill him? and has a sunshine boyfriend named Oliver who is painfully Scottish and likes to bring Navi to the beach with his little siblings Spencer and Alex.
