The wind of late winter had swept the land outside Nargothrond into a desert of slowly melting snow. Disturbed only by Finrod atop his horse. The idea of finally returning home put a faint smile on his face as he crested a hill.

A trail in the snow that wound across the hillside caught Finrod's attention. It was the only thing besides his trail and a handful of trees in the snow. Pressing into his horse's flanks he turned to follow the wavering path through the snow. 

He rounded the base of a hill to see a cloaked figure, slin and tiny maybe standing to his hip ahead. He dismounted from his horse, leading it behind him as he approached. "Hello stranger," He said softly once close enough.

((Thank you dear! ~Also I am sorry I haven't messaged you lately, my mood has been all over the place and my parents have been determined to keep me off the computer as much as possible so one minute I'm here and the next I'm not. I would feel really bad to start something just to be pulled away, but thankfully they are asleep now so I'm here!))
