For this week’s Johou Battle Update, I’ve taken some of the feedback I’ve gotten and made Ichirin’s poses and animations less stiff and much more animated! I went for the puppet approach previously for fluidity, but even if this method uses less frames, they’re all drawn so there’s a lot more life and personality to them! There’s many more animations to come, so prepare for those too! Heck, these may not even be the final versions of these animations. If I can make these even better I will!
Introducing my very fist game, Johou Battle! That’s right, I’m making a video game! This fangame is going to be a bullet hell crossover of Jojo’s Bizzare Adventure and Touhou Project, appropriately named Johou Battle! The main characters of this game are Jotaro Kujo and Ichirin Kumoi, who will each be going up against each other. Of course, they aren’t alone either. Jotaro comes with a quick boost from his stand, Star Platinum! Meanwhile, Ichirin is with her eternal nyuudou Unzan, who packs quite a punch! One day in the Eastern Wonderland of Gensokyo, Ichirin Kumoi receives a peculiar request from her leader: “I want to meet Jotaro Kujo!” As Jotaro is searching for his nemesis in Cairo, Ichirin comes swooping in demanding he go with her! Both fighters posses powerful punching spirits, and neither is going to back down without a fight! The game is still going to be in development for a while, but I feel as if the project is far along for me to be able to discuss it.
