Pinefur

Pinefur is a very shorthaired tabby she-cat.

Pinefur used to be a kittypet named Piper (get it? Pinefur-Piper? Close enough) but she had cruel twolegs who declawed her. She eventually ran away and ended up in RiverClan territory, where Leopardstar took pity on her (she reminded her of Sasha) and allowed her in. The cats were horrified to learn about declawing and she was treated well.

Jigsaw, one of the kittypets from The Fourth Apprentice, decided to join RiverClan after he helped them out with the beavers. Leopardstar was too sick to care and Mistyfoot gave him a chance. Him and Pinefur fell in love and eventually had kits. After having kits, Pinefur decided to stay in the nursery and become a permaqueen, because her lack of claws made hunting and fighting harder, and she had chronic pain from them.

Also, you may say "Wait, isn't Jigsaw a tortoiseshell? Shouldn't he be infertile or trans or something" and to that I say: there are extremely extremely rare instances of male tortoiseshells being fertile! Just a fun fact I wanted to use somewhere. This also meant that Pinefur and Jigsawpelt were NOT expecting to have kits 😭😭

Edit: I got rid of this genetic rule so it doesn't even matter anymore lol
