1. Who are are your all time favorite TV/Movie/Book characters and why?
This is one of the toughest questions you could’ve asked me! I hate trying to pick, so I’ll just list three random favorites, off the top of my head: 1) Jesse De Silva, from the Mediator series by Meg Cabot because he will always be my perfect fictional hero :P 2) Hermione Granger, for being a role model to girls everywhere. Seriously, I just didn’t realize how cool she actually was when I was younger – to be that level of genius without a hint of arrogance, and have a heart of gold at the same time? I consciously try to emulate her now. 3) Toothless from How to Train Your Dragon – because he has got to be one of the most adorable and endearing animals I’ve ever seen, animated or real.
2. What TV shows are you watching right now and why?
1) Gossip Girl because of Dair, and I can’t wait till it’s all over so I’m rid of the crapfest that is the non-Dair part of the show! :'(2) Game of Thrones, because that is actually quality TV although I’m not far in just yet. 3) Doctor Who, again, way behind everyone else, but I’m taking my time over it and enjoying every bit, because again, quality TV and David Tennant. *Drool*.
3. Whats the most interesting and unique thing about you?
Haha questions like these always make me automatically say ‘nothing.’ It’s impossible for me to be objective about myself, so I’ll just tell you a random useless fact about me, off the top of my head again: I’m really weirdly good at interchanging letters and numbers. Like, if you tell me a number from 1-26, I can tell you the letter of the alphabet it corresponds to without thinking and vice versa. Sometimes I have an easier time with codes because of that.
4. Where do you see your self in 5-10 years?
Working in the Civil Services at home, hopefully! Fingers crossed, they’re really hard to get into.
5. Five things you would like to accomplish before you die. Places you’d like to go, people you would like to meet, goals you want to meet, etc.
1) Write a book. 2) Help aid social and educational reform at home. 3) Be fluent in seven languages. 4) Live in New York. 5) Get a PhD.
6. The last time you felt really, really happy and why.
This weekend, because my crush smiled at me and I’m secretly 12 years old and pathetic and that made me giddy and giggly for a good few hours.
7. All time favorite ships and why?
Top 3: 1) Suze and Jesse from the Mediator series, because both those characters are two of my favorites of all time and they just have a really epic journey, and they’re everything – funny, smart, adorable, sexy, and plenty of feels-inducing. 2) Lily and James Potter :P Purely based on fanfiction, and the hints J. K. Rowling has dropped (dude, if your Patronuses match and complement, you are OTP for life). Also they created Harry Potter. 3) Miaka and Tamahome from Fushigi Yuugi (it’s an anime). Looking back, they get so silly and sappy at times, but I watched the show when I was little and they will always have a special place in my heart.
8. When you go to your window and look out side, what do you see? A suburban neighborhood, tall sky scrapers, etc.
The outer edges of a college campus, blending into the town the college is in – mostly really tall trees that block the view of everything else (not that I’m complaining). Oh, and the edge of a parking lot – breathtaking. :P
9. Whats the one thing you do when you need to get away from it all and just be alone with your own thoughts? Take a bath, go for a drive, take a walk/run, etc.
Meditate.
10. Whats your most cherished item?
Haha. My laptop :P Mostly because it contains my life, and not just in terms of the internet – it has all my college work, writing, etc.
11. It’s better to have loved and lost, than never to have loved at all?
Love in what sense? I don’t think it’s really possible for a human being to go through life without loving someone or something. I don’t think it’s possible to never have loved at all tbh.
My questions:
1. The last thing that you got really obsessed with and/or are still obsessed with, apart from Dair.
2. The last book you read, and/or book(s) you’re currently reading.
3. Favorite beverage.
4. The top ten most played songs on your iTunes/Spotify/whatever music player you use.
5. Your pet and its name/if you had a pet what would it be and what would you name it?
6. Favorite non-Dair blog
