I don’t know why, but this is my favourite Christmas tree decoration! I don’t even wear frivolous shoes. 😄 I was melancholy yesterday as I lodged my final job sheets - next week is my last at the exercise oncology clinic I love (contract not renewed for ‘economic reasons’). On the eve of my first trail race, the weather in #perthwesternaustralia is very hot and steamy, and that’s enough to sap one’s verve as well. Maybe I need a bauble-encrusted pink shoe to kick away the blues! Look ahead. Run that race. Face the next challenge. I can hear thunder rolling in the distance - maybe a cleansing downpour is coming. ☁👠🎄🏃⚡
