Darna is the most famous female superhero here in our country. Last month or last last month? (I can't remember and I'm not really sure of the exact date) the hashtag #SigawDarnaPH was trending and everybody was making fanarts for her. Most people I saw were making their own version of Darna. Knowing me who is always late to the party, I just finished mine now after the hype has died down lol. Nevertheless, I'm pretty happy with the result. I actually sketched and brainstormed my design at work during my idle time haha. If you have been following me for long (specially the ones following me way waaaay back) you'll know that I love giving makeovers to canon characters or making designs for canon characters that haven't released their certain look yet (for example their future or grownup selves etc.) So I hope I gave her justice. I used all colors of our flag, made sure that she's a morena beauty to represent our skin color and added a little baybayin (our ancestors' ancient form of writing) tattoo on her arm. Oh and also, it's been a while since the last time a drew a magazine cover style art so yeah. Alright that's it for now hermit fam! See you on my next artwork! Jacq out~ P.S.
