Behind the scenes of the Montgomery household… 🏡✨
When Charli first moved in, she had a tiny starter home, big dreams, and enough room for exactly one person. Over the years, that little house was remodeled… and remodeled again… and then remodeled one more time as the family continued to grow. Below you will see the following:

✨ The finished version built for this chapter of their story
What started as a cozy space for a hopeful writer eventually had to make room for stepchildren stopping by, toddlers taking over every corner, and a life Charli never could have imagined when she first sat down to write her very first book.
As Charli’s writing career grew and Cliff advanced in his career, it became obvious that the old house simply couldn’t keep up anymore. The kids were getting older. The family was expanding. The memories were multiplying.
So after several renovations, countless furniture rearrangements, and a lot of trial and error, the Montgomery-Chorus family finally found their forever home.

My building skills may not be perfect, but looking back at where they started in 2017 and where they are now in 2026 makes me ridiculously proud.🥰😌I will post the final version with landscaping and decorations soon.
Honestly, I think that is one of many hidden gems inside a legacy challenge; the houses grow because the people inside them grow too.

P.S. Before the next chapter begins, here’s one last look at Montgomery and Macy exactly as they are now. Because they won’t stay little forever… and somehow that’s both exciting and heartbreaking. 🥹🩵🩷 (and yep, Montgomery fell fast asleep in his sister’s toddler bed. 🤭😍cliff didn’t want to move him because he looked so peaceful.)
