Okay... I played through "Piofiore" the other day. It's an otome game for Nintendo Switch and honestly... it was not what I expected. There I was thinking I would get myself a nice fluffy otome game... not knowing that this was a rather dark 20s mafia flick set in Italy with themes like human trafficking, counterfeit money, drug abuse, yes... even rape themes... and many character deaths... Oh and religion was a big part of the story, too.
It was a well rounded story with great characters - but phew... until you get to the "Finale" playthrough it's a hell of a ride. Player discretion is totally advised and the mature rating had a reason XD
Despite it all... I wanted to create a Piofiore OC just for the fun of it. Her name is Helen, she is Gilbert's (one of the LIs) cousin and recently returned from America to the small town of Burlone in Italy (the setting of the game, it’s not a real place).
This picture of Helen is a speed paint of sorts ... and I found that drawing in this heat is annoying because my hand constantly stuck to the tablet... and I couldn't find my drawing glove... *sigh*
i'd let my own oc step on me???
Under The Red Umbrella
My drawing of the scene in my Piofiore fic. Aira (my oc) arrived in Piofiore world after her death, wandering aimlessly through Burlone. Completely lost and had no idea what to do. As the rain fall and she has no strength to walk, Nicola protect her from the rain with his umbrella and offered to bring her to the hospital.
Never ask a slavic woman what is she doing in southeastern Italy
