            Mercedes wasn’t going to totally take over Phil’s home and drown the place in Christmas decorations. She wanted to respect his space and also, she really wasn’t THAT big on the idea of decorating things. Perhaps once she was able to settle down and enjoy her hard work would she begin to bring more out for the holiday season. One thing she did hang was a mistletoe and she managed to trick him into following her, placing him right under it as a mischevious grin grew on her face. “I wasn’t too sure how you felt about the holiday and decorations… but I figured one little thing wouldn’t kill you, right?” She ran her hands down his front before her fists grabbed a handful of the jacket that he was wearing. Prime position to do what just had to be done when two people were found beneath a mistletoe. “C’mere now.” she said before she stood up onto the tips of her toes and pulled Phil down to her level at the same time, meeting her lips with his. Kissing the older Chicagoan softly and tenderly.

               Mercedes wasn’t at first informed that this Be-A-Star campaign would be a little different than the rest. A couple of days before Halloween and the company requested that they dressed up to join the children that day. It wasn’t an issue but on such short notice, that might be a pain. She glanced at herself in the mirror and thought the choice over. “I don’t know. I looove Sailor Moon, but I feel like I could do better.” she said. Her hands ran down the sides of the outfit and straightened it out while hoping to get a better feel of it. Perhaps making it look more right and proper could sell her on it. “I still have over a week.” she added, wanting to remind him. Mercedes then turned and looked at Phil. “Thanks for the help though.”

“The only one for me?“ Phil asked with a small grin on his face. Sure, that sudden confession caught him off guard, but he didn’t mind at all. That was a side of her he never saw before, a side that made him smile. The guy had never been very clear about his feelings towards her. He always let his actions speak for him, but sometimes words could be necessary. The Chicago native moved a few steps towards his girl and wrapped her waist with an arm, pulling her closer to him. Their hips were firmly pressed against each other, while his face was just a few inches away from hers. “My goodness, you look so beautiful.“ He talked in whispers, observing Cedes’ features. “You say you wanna be the only one… but don’t you think you already are the only one?“ He asked, raising both brows as if he perfectly knew the answer to that question. “You ARE the only one for me, baby girl.”

               the problems started to arise as people began to find out where she was spending so much of her time and why she chose to spend so much time in chicago when you never heard her talk about the city. she was never sure how she should explain things to her best friend. was she visiting a boyfriend? or was she just visiting a friend who she would kiss and have sex with? she wanted answers. she NEEDED answers... but mercedes didn’t want to push and force the answers out of him. brown eyes looked down at the floor because she was scared to know what his reaction would be - until she felt his body pressed firmly against her. that’s when she tilted her head. “i don’t know.” she admitted. “actions say one thing but i don’t know what goes on in that head of yours. who the hell knows what you think when you see me. how am i supposed to know if you like me... or like me but only as a friend?” cedes continued as she hesitantly brought her arms up and around his waist, slowly to make sure that it was okay of her to do that.

               Nimble movements with her finger against the tattoo on his chest was the perfect way to start the morning. Her body, wearing only one of his shirts and a pair of underwear on her lower half, was pressed closely against the side of Phil’s body. Mercedes rarely ever woke up before him and as much as her body wanted to fall back asleep for another hour or so, she decided staying up would be much more fun. Her eyes glanced up his torso at his face and as a small smile, Mercedes pushed herself up and closer to his face where she places a gentle kiss on his lips. “Don’t leave me here hanging, sleepy head.” Mercedes whispered against his lips, giggling at the same time as she trailed her fingers against the man’s beard.

Definitely. She had a huge point there. It took too much time for him to realize that THAT was the right thing to do, but as he loved to say: better late than never. The Chicago native enjoyed the kiss from the very first moment till the last, moving his lips against hers slowly and gently. Everything turned out perfectly, just as he expected. He kinda wanted that to last forever, but his respiratory tract acted like an asshole as well, so they had to pull away. But why did he decide to kiss her at that moment? He wasn’t sure himself, they were on their way to the catering, they were having a nice conversation as usual, and suddenly he pulled her into a kiss, without even caring if someone was looking at them. The man held back for so much time, he couldn’t resist anymore, he HAD to kiss her, he HAD to leave a mark on that woman somehow. She had something special. Rubbing a thumb on his mouth, he listened to her and laughed along, Their faces were so close to each other, he stared into her big eyes as she spoke. “Hmph… ever heard of ‘waiting of the right moment’, little one? You’ve got a lot to learn…” He replied with a slight giggle on his face and a teasing tone of voice. Before she could even say a word, Phil wrapped her hips and pressed his lips against hers hungrily, again.

               Perhaps he had a point. There was a very good chance that he was right. She wasn’t stubborn enough to deny that. There have been plenty of moments where they had the chance to steal a kiss from each other, but it never happened until right now and everything about this felt right. Makes her feel kind of glad they did wait until right now because who knows if it would’ve felt the same when they had other chances. She was about to speak again, about to respond when he put her lips to better use. Their lips were once again met and Mercedes rested a hand on his chest before slowly bringing it up his body and then around to rest her hand against the back of the Chicagoan’s head. Her entire body relaxed into his and the entire outside world was shut out - at least until she pulled from the kiss after it lingered on longer than it probably needed to. “I guess that felt like the right time as well, right?” Mercedes laughed as she dropped her hand from in and took in a deep breath. Her lips ached for more of him but perhaps now and right here wasn’t the best place to continue that. “We should probably stop. Someone might see us.” she added.

              It FINALLY happened and there was no denying that it was way better than she ever expected. Yes, she’s thought about it before but she wasn’t ashamed to admit that. Mercedes wasn’t ashamed to admit that she wanted this.  In the midst of the kiss - their first kiss - her hand lifted to the side of his face and slowly and gently glided the tips of her fingers against his scruff. Refusing to pull away after he grabbed her and brought her in. Refusing to break the kiss until her lungs were practically begging her for air. Mercedes planned on enjoying each and every second of this. When she finally had to pull away, Mercedes sighed and then an awkward little chuckle passed her lips. “Took you long enough.” she flashed a grin at him and then laughed again.
