Cheating

I was in 5th grade getting ready to take my United States map test, when I suddenly realized that I never studied for the United States map test. While looking around the class I noticed the bright freshly painted yellow walls with dark green patterns. While I was staring at the memorizing green patterns I realized that I was letting time fly by with only forty-five minutes left to finish the test. After I pulled out my pencil, I began writing my name on the test paper before soon noticing my classmate was just finishing up on her last question. At this moment I thought to myself what if I just took a little peek at my classmate’s paper and get the answer since I never studied for this test. I began to lean towards my classmate’s paper to get the answers until I heard a loud screeching yell behind me. When I turned around to see who it was I had caught a sick feeling in my stomach when I realized I was face to face with my teacher. After my teacher caught me trying to cheat she had called my mom and I got into big trouble. After going through that moment in my life I realized at a young age, that cheating to find an easy way out is isn’t the way to do things and there are going to be big consequences.
