42. Do they let each other get away with things that would normally bother them?
Definitely. Like Piper talking with her hands. Usually this is something that would bother Ruby (it reminds her of a particularly irritating co-worker, pre-war) and it did at first when she met Piper, but now she finds it weirdly endearing. Probably because she loves listening to Piper get all enthusiastic and nerd out over whatever story’s coming up next in Publick Occurrences.
And Piper puts up with Ruby’s snoring during spring/summer when she has hay fever. She doesn’t have the heart to kick her out of bed and likes snuggling her too much to go and sleep on the sofa herself. Plus Ruby’s extreme fangirling over the Silver Shroud. Including regular cosplaying - I’m pretty sure if it was anyone else, this would get pretty annoying, since Piper is a lot less familiar with the Silver Shroud franchise than Ruby or Kent. Though that’s being remedied ;)
