Lost Angel
There were times when Castiel regretted marking Dean and Sam’s ribs. He’d thought it would be beneficial to hide them from the angels. And so far it had been. The only down side was that he was an angel.
He stood on the side of a highway, searching his pockets for the third time in the last few minutes. Normally he would simply call Dean and ask where they were, making it easy to fly to their location. But, he’d lost his phone, it seemed. There wasn’t a payphone in sight, there wasn’t even a building in sight. He was in the middle of nowhere.
A few moments of thought later, he’d come up with an idea. And a few moments after that he was flying some distance away, landing in front of the last hunter the Winchester brothers had worked with, staring at her with his serious blue eyes.
