Piper was sure the estate was trying to punish her. It wasn’t to say she didn’t deserve such a punishment. She had given every teacher and staff member there an insurmountable amount of trouble in the time she’d been there. Between the unapproved trips outside the wall, the lying, skipping class and what not she didn’t think she’d left a great impression on those working at the estate. So she should have been surprised that they’d come up with a new way to torture her.
Making her put up with her family. Sure, they’d been tenting together for about a week now, but she didn’t even like being around her sister herself, let alone having her two daughters there around her. Most of the time she got up early enough that she didn’t have to interact with the girl. And she’d return at a time where the other girl was gone. Truthfully, she didn’t want to deal with other backlash from her sister. Especially considering the fact that Piper was now going for a throne Phoebe had all but been promised. At least that was how it always had seemed.
