Today was the Day. A Day of Visiting.

Piper and Pierre were going to make his first appearances to people who had lost him when he died. There was really no way to prepare people for such an event, so they were going to go with the old fashion way. Show up at doors. Piper would text first to let people know she was coming, but the rest was going to be up close, live, and in person. She was more than ready to plead her case if anyone took major offense to breaking the laws of nature for Pierre.
"You ready for this?" She'd ask as they prepared to leave his hotel. She held out her hand to show she was going to be right there with him all the way.
"Is there anything you want to go over about anyone?"
During his preparation over the course of some weeks she'd spent time informing him and filling him in on anything important about the old Pierre's life, at least as much as she could considering she didn't walk in his shoes. So, he got the version she understood. She didn't give him too many unneeded details because she didn't want him fretting about every little thing when it wasn't him.
She tried to focus on he was loved and who his friends were. Some actions were explained away as that's just how Delta and Frank are. So, don't take offense to being sentenced to death. They like torturing people, so death was giving it to him easy. Piper even narrated this as an act of kindness which proves his presence had to have been enjoyed on some level. In a warped way it was true. Delta had actually been rooting for him. What Piper didn't know was Delta didn't actually care if he lived or died. He could have stuck around if he wasn't causing havoc on her Hunch. She tolerated him. That was a lot for Delta. Tolerating people was practically an act of friendship in Delta language. The guy saved her mother from Hell. Of course, Delta wanted good for him. It came down to the Hunch came first. Testing Maddy with the card was just a game in Delta's head for little Maddy Mouse at the time. She'd finally outgrown the name despite Delta using it once in a while.
Piper's biggest concern wasn't Delta for once. It was Maddy. It was her fathers. But, to her the claim of family trumped everything. She was taught this not only by her fathers, but the Laveaus. She could cut people off as easy as any of them, but family felt different. It never felt settled no matter how many self-care/no-contact memes she'd read. The world could avoid-avoid-avoid all they wanted. It just wasn't for her. Maybe she was too big for her britches, but she felt like she could solve anything after gaining control of an entire country. She basically made the happiest place on earth after her changes were implemented. Surely, she could handle some relative relations after dealing with international relations. Jumping the Fate's strings into the timeline felt like the answer. The more time she spent around this Pierre, the more she was certain. She held no regrets.
Even telling him about how he died here and why was how Piper even came up with this plan. In her head the timeline jumping may have condemned Pierre before, but it was also going to save him for them all. A little irony and magic intervention never hurt anyone. Famous last words? They were about to find out.
"And just remember, if anyone doesn't react as we hope, we remember sometimes it takes time for people to adjust to something new. Who would you like to see first?"
