tojis standing by the bedroom door at like 5am, already dressed, boots on, his jacket half zipped, keys in his hand, andd hes not leaving yet, just standing there like something short circuited in him the second he looked back at the bed.
you were dead asleep, face half buried into the pillow. your body sunk deep into the mattress. the blankets were twisted around your legs, one thrown off somewhere during the night, top bunched up just enough to show the soft curve of your waist where it pressed into the bed. one tit was already halfway out your top, pressing against the bedsheets.
he sighs, rubbing the edge of his jaw. he shouldve left already, he knows that.
instead hes leaning there, big frame taking up the doorway, eyes dragging slow over you like hes committing the whole thing to memory. its honestly getting ridiculous now, because all he wants to do is take his shoes off, crawl into bed, and press you up against him again.
you dont move once, just breathing soft, lips parted a little, completely gone to the world, and it somehow makes it worse because now you look extra comfortable, like the bed was built for you specifically.
his grip tightens around his keys for a second, jaw shifting while he looks at you like you personally did this to him on purpose.
because now hes late, and hes still not leaving.
and then he exhales, low and annoyed, like hes finally had enough of himself, pushing off the doorway and walking back over, heavy steps quiet out of habit as he leans over the bed, one big hand grabbing at your upper thigh to pull you just enough toward him.
you barely stir, just a soft little sound leaving you as your face turns slightly into him.
he presses a rough kiss against your cheek, then another against your mouth, quick and gruff, like hes stealing it before he goes, thumb pressing once into your side before he lets you sink back into the mattress.
"love you," he mutters under his breath, more habit than anything, hand patting your ass before he straightens up.
this time he actually leaves.
