tongue tied.
once again, toulouse has disappeared from her sight. a rather easy thing to do, considering her habit of dozing off and leaving her room’s door ajar by accident, that the feline seems to be taking advantage of recently. thankfully, she stumbles upon a trail of green paw prints (gosh, hopefully nobody’s painting got ruined) and follows it until she comes across a sight that feels like it’s straight out of a fever dream.
piper hayes, someone who essentially feels like she’s twice josie’s height, backed up against the wall looking like a ghost is terrorising her. only this time, it’s merely a chubby tabby cat rubbing against the gryffindor’s legs.
suddenly, it feels like there’s a lump in the slytherin witch’s throat when she’s reminded of the rage in the other girl’s eyes during their last interaction. a result of a misunderstanding, but she never got the chance to explain herself. still, she brings herself to scoop up the large feline with a little struggle, letting out a soft grunt. “christ—are you okay?” she asks softly, quickly averting her gaze afterwards. “sorry about him. he’s very... needy.”
