At the Bach by Rachel Cadwallader 7501 N Zealand PIQF 2016 161015-144055 C4 by Charlie & Melody Wambeke Via Flickr: I made this photo of Rachel Cadwallader's colorful quilt she named At the Bach. It was International entry number 7501. The statement about this 57 X 48 inch quilt read as follows: A bach is a small restic holiday home and often found at the beach. A quilt handing over a dorr as an advertisement for thread evoked memories of an old beach towel my father used. I wanted to replicate the memory and so the quilt, originally be Heather Johnson, we made. I used my domestic machine to piece and quilt it. I shot this image with my Canon Powershot SX50 point and shoot.
