#Goyo2018

Watched the Goyo on opening day with friends! I'm not all praises as I was a bit underwhelmed and I feel the film lacked in writing (perhaps not enough time to expound on everything!) so I’ll try to find some time to properly make a review (?) and even share my meta. Alam kong may nag-aabang kasi nag-appear na naman yung puting tasa towards the end of the film (non-spoiler naman yun no?)

I absolutely LOVE the film still. I adore Sir Pong so much because his work improved so much over time, the cinematography was perfect. Casting also took my heart away, thank you for accepting parts of my fancast Ate Mara, I know you’re on tumblr HAHAHAHA please sobrang mahal ko si Rafa at si RK at si Gwen marami pong salamat

Also some of the letters made it in the film with a bit of editing for Creative License™ ahaha masaya na akong makita na binabasa ang mga ito on screen

I also watched the livestream yesterday with Jerrold and Ploo (and Rafa arrived around 10 minutes before they went offline kasi he had to download Discord pa HAHAHAHA) and we got some (serious?) questions answered and I’ll share some insight again soon about the stuff we talked about during the livestream haha! I was touched when Ploo read the stuff we commented since Jerrold kept disconnecting so we kept saying nahulog siya sa bangin HAHAHAHA I love it when my ex panganay (one of my new kids are older than him lmao) also memes and shitposts and I think he wants to cover like a Naruto opening song at some point (Jerrold did a drum cover of Haruka Kanata and I’m looking for it haha)

Watched Goyo again last weekend and attended both Q&A sessions at C76 San Juan and C76 Anonas! I’ll be posting about the questions and stuff here, although I already did on my twitter. 

The answers I was able to jot down were all paraphrased since I also want to encourage you guys to keep watching in the cinemas since iirc, some of the actors are still doing surprise cinema visits for some screenings. And TBA might host more Q&A sessions for the other fans that weren’t able to make it to the ones last weekend!

So in short, this blog will slowly become a Phil History blog yet again wahaha I think it might happen again in 3 years time for Quezon so we’ll see owo

It’s been 3 years since the legendary HenLu UPD Panel so I think the Goyo C76 Panel being held an exact month before the UPD Panel’s anniv is no coincidence huhu I miss being able to post abt local stuff, hope we can get to working full time to promoting local artists again uwu
