The architecture of the Metroid Prime games - Doors
On the Jakral
The Jakral (The Space Pirate species native to Urtragus) are a semi-amphibious species. They go through bodily stages like frogs. That being said, the ‘tadpoles’ born to the warrior/slave castes are often retrofitted with cheap cybernetics and sent to battle as suicide soldiers, hence the Pirate Militia.
The Space Pirates, on the whole, are severely underestimated by parts of the Federation, which suits them just fine. People like Samus who insist they’re more of a danger than they’re usually given credit for are often seen as something like conspiracy theorists. After their defeat in Super Metroid, they’re merely laying low and licking their wounds, mounting their strength to make a blitz of a comeback one day.
This has happened before - calling Urtraghus "the Pirate Homeworld" was a combination of mistranslation of intercepted Pirate communications and wishful thinking on parts of the Federation’s end. They thought the Pirates were done for after the end of the Phazon Wars, and they thought they were done after the second Zebes incident.
They’ll be back. They’re always going to be back.

And in the words of MetroidPrimeHQ, listen to / download the complete soundtrack here.
The Pirate Homeworld, the other Phazon Planet, also from Metroid Prime 3: Corruption (2007). A planet impacted by a Leviathan seed and well underway in turning into Phazon. Unused text suggests that the planet's true name is actually Urtraghus. (I don't think it's as good as it could be, I kinda made an irreversable mistake about halfway through that I couldn't fully rectify .-. *sigh* )
