meme call : accepting : @piratebvrnAt first - at the very first, he thinks Turner must be taking the piss out of him. He can almost hear Jack Sparrow in the back of his mind, calling out, “Wot? No. His face has always looked like that, mate!” And it is a sad state of affairs when Jack Sparrow, who isn’t even present, starts answering in his own head to statements not even directed at him.But the initial surge of temper at that fades quickly, as he goes to bear his teeth and there’s a pull at the left side of his face, something sticky and warm and uncomfortable there, making his hair cling and when he reaches up, to touch at it, his fingers come away tacky and red. It’s only then, really, that he realizes that perhaps he does feel a bit off, and that Turner - God bless his soul so close to Billy Turner’s - is genuinely asking. Bit of a shock, that, coming from this one.“Bit of a dust up.” He says, as though he can’t feel, now that he’s been aware, of himself peering through a half-mask of red. “While the sentiment is touching, Turner, it ain’t something that necessarily concerns you.”
