It had come to James mind that maybe taking the young woman overseas might let her mind wonder off a bit since she had a rough time pulling herself together. He did would whatever he could to convince the crew that she was no trouble or harm. All Elizabeth needed was a short sail across the sea. If she had done anything wrong, James would have to be the one responsible for her actions and receive the punishment later. Nevertheless, He agreed to it and explained to Elizabeth what they plan to next. Overwhelmed with excitement, she could not help but smile the whole way there. It was her first time riding a ship and hopefully, it wouldn’t be her last. In her books, it explained that the seas were cruel and a dangerous place to be at if bad weather but there wasn’t. She relaxed a bit, knowing that it was going to be a safe trip. She took in the breeze as the ship finally sailed.
“Ahh! This is the life. It’s so nice.” Elizabeth mumbled, looking out into the sea as her arms rested on the handles.
“Thanks for taking me out here, Mr.Kidd. I can finally clear my mind.”
