Elizabeth in Burial At Sea → requested by Anonymous
"Elizabeth where are you going?" She watched the woman opening the tear, the fact that she was watching a hole being torn in space time wasn’t quite sinking in well enough. "What if the bloody bird didn’t follow you? If it had wouldn’t it have found you by now?" She felt a violet Breeze blowing through, and she wasn’t sure if it was the tear itself or what was on the other side creating it?
She wasn’t keen on finding out anyway.
" I’ve had enough! " Her voice roared as the tear expanded wide open. Elizabeth refused to take her chances by standing at the ship. Her life was in danger as it is. Why risk the chances now?
The young woman’s eyes popped opened, to only find herself back in Columbia. Her tear accidentally opened up to a spot, heavily guarded by soldiers and upon seeing her face, they quickly grabbed her to the other side.
" J-James!! Help!! JAMES!! " She cried out his name, trying to break free from the soldiers but was failing badly.
" JAMES!! Take me back!! "

The woman jumped at the sight others reaction, the crew man she had accosted looked confused. A penny whistle? No it was a pan flute. ”So he’s summoned with a song?” Those were the first chords of a tune but Mary couldn’t think of what they were…..
" No. No, I’m not safe. Not even down here! " She exclaimed, walked back and forth. The songbird can tear the ship into a million pieces just to take Elizabeth back. The poor girl did not want to go back. Not on bit but… Was that even possible? She had gotten this far. Surely, there was something they could do to never bring back the bird but what?
" What if… What if… I can open tears. What am I doing? Just.. Just stan back, okay? " Elizabeth warned Mary as she attempted to open up a tear.
" He can never find me if I open one. I will go hide. "
Repeat after me. Quality is NOT
The amount of followers a person has
The amount of asks a person gets
Big bombastic words
Small fancy text
Frequent replies
Having many threads
Pretty icons
Quality, is simply, the accurate portrayal of the character you are roleplaying.
Henceforth, do not judge a person by the points stated above, but by their ability to bring the character to life without altering their personalities. Actually, don’t judge a person at all.
If you should ever leave me
Though life would still go on believe me
The world could show nothing to me
So what good would living do me
God only knows what I’d be without you
Did Elizabeth really know why Booker helped her out? Seeing the way he was, it wasn’t for heart but for something else… But what?
"I … No. I don’t know why he even bothered to take me out. I was so caught up with the songbird hurting him and me just ready to leave, I, I, I…
Elizabeth had become silent for a moment. The Songbird was the last thing she wanted to talk about and just hearing its name made her shiver.
"… The songbird isn’t what you think it is. " She started, glancing down at her feet once more.
" Yes, it’s a bird but not the small birds you usually see. The songbird is different. It’s a mechanical machine that protects me outside the tower, making sure no one could hurt me. " Although this was true, Elizabeth was afraid of it. As a child, she loved it dearly but now as a young woman, pushed away from the bird for personal reasons.
" It only responds to-" A familiar tune was heard from a distances and Elizabeth couldn’t help but to listen.
Oh no… The whistle… The damn whistle!? How did it end up all the way here. Elizabeth quickly took the whistle from one of the crew members and began screaming at them. Maybe it was wrong for her to do so. There was no way the songbird went out to follow her. No way. ” Don’t ever use this again! Do you hear me?? Don’t!
She hopped along the hopscotch lines, like she was playing….
" My … my grave? " The question confused Elizabeth. There was no way the songbird would hurt her. It was her protector since she was child. In no way did the machine hurt the young woman. It would kill anyone who got attempted to hurt Elizabeth.
" … The songbird would never do that. It’s my savior, not an enemy. "
When Mary returned, with the crew she sighed. Watching as they picked him up from Elizabeth’s embrace. She put her arm around the womans shoulders and said “It’ll be alright lass, We’ll tell him what you want and if the man has any sense to him he’ll listen.” She looked at the woman before asking another question that crossed her mind. "Do you know why he helped you escape?"

"I … No. I don’t know why he even bothered to take me out. I was so caught up with the songbird hurting him and me just ready to leave, I, I, I forgot to ask. Maybe when he wakes up, I can ask or you can. " She said, looking over at Mary, who gently wrapped her arm around her.
" I’m sure he had a good reason. Booker seems like an honest man. "

She circled the dark haired woman, skipping from one leg to another. on the boardwalk singing a song she had heard the children of this flying city singing.
"Song bird song bird see him fly
if the young ones misbehave
songbird takes them to their grave.”
“ Who are you? ” The young woman asked, eyeing the pink-haired girl as she walked all around her.
" How do you know about the songbird? How? “
