Mercedes and McLaren are participating in a two-day tire test for Pirelli, who are developing the tires for the 2027 season. This test was originally scheduled to take place in Saudi Arabia, but due to conflict in the region, it was canceled along with the grands prix in the month of April. The test was rescheduled and relocated to the F1 circuit at the Nurburgring, which has not been a regular staple on the F1 calendar since 2013, though it did return briefly as part of the ad-hoc 2020 season as host to the Eifel Grand Prix.

Presumably, Lando will be on track for McLaren tomorrow, and Antonelli for Mercedes. Additionally, Oscar and Lando were spotted on the Nordschleife in a couple of McLaren 720Ss outfitted with some camera equipment, so some fun content may be incoming from that sometime in the next couple of weeks.

(Nurburgring is one of my favorite circuits in all of motorsport, so I'm personally VERY excited for this!)
