Basically, Phil is a robot engineer with extraordinary skills that would’ve completely revolutionized AI technology. Missa is one of his most successful projects, and he was more than just another machine. Phil’s once cold heart, hardened from the years of working with lifeless technology, began to thaw in Missa’s presence, beating with unexpected warmth for what he’s created. Though, Phil hides Missa like a tucked secret; the very thought of losing the only thing that’s stirred his heart, having Missa ripped from his hands and twisted into something corrupt and destructive, fills Phil with quiet, grave dread.
Missa began as nothing but a head model; an assembly of wires and circuits. It was a mere project meant for Phil to test cognitive and emotional mechanics - that is until he saw the first flicker of life in Missa’s eyes. As Missa became more sentient, Phil decided to craft him a body.
Before building the body, Missa met all of his friends online, where his personality began to blossom as he weaved intricate connections that felt real. It reached a point where a deep-seated desire and longing for physical connection unfurled within him, yearning for the warmth and comfort of hugging his friends— hugging Phil.
