No, the individual season will be released as well. I’ve preordered it but I’m seriously re-considering now, it’s too pretty…and technically the other complete boxes aren’t complete anymore, so I have my excuse. I just found this today on German Amazon and I’ve fallen for it. It would look nice with the others. 🙈

it was definitely beautiful in that way :) tbh i loved every bit of the revival - but i think im blinded by the love i have for the characters (also the musical that lots of people thought went on for too long was sutton foster and christian borle and i love those two odd balls so much from their stage stuff that i loved the whole shitty musical too! hahah)

admittedly i got very impatient with the musical my first time watching, but while i do think that some of that screentime could’ve been devoted to something more meaningful, i think i likely won’t be as hard on it once i rewatch

it’s had some time to sink in, y’know?

but yeah ultimately i appreciate the revival because i think it offered meaningful insight and closure to emily and lorelai’s characters and it was such a nostalgia trip to see everyone back again

honestly people can complain about certain aspects of the revival ‘til they’re blue in the face but it was unquestionably. such a wonderful tribute to ed herrmann. i think he would’ve been very touched.

omg yes i have! I'm excited :))) but also sad cause we'll have to wait a year for more eps! I was so adament I wanted hugh w/ charlie at the begining but now... i mean you can't not ship hugh/penny (Henny? Pugh? :'))

Yes I wasn’t sure where they were going to go ship wise, but I’m glad they seem to be leaning towards Penny, because I hate it when shows unnecessarily create love triangles.

I love that moment where Charlie just kisses him one last time to know for sure that they don’t have anything anymore. It was a good way of wrapping up Hugh’s past with her, without dragging out the will they/won’t they aspect.

I don’t do smushed names myself, but I have seen people on Twitter calling them Henny, which is thankfully a lot nicer than Pugh LOL.

I certainly intend to keep giffing, there are so many moments in previous episodes I want to go back and gif too. I don’t know if you’ve seen the promo for this week’s episode (check out the official Doctor Doctor twitter account if you haven’t), but it’s very shipper friendly if you like Hugh/Penny 😍❤️
