*Pit and Palutena acknowledge Master Hand's words*

Pit: Right! We should be going!

Palutena: Right away! Pit, come and hold onto the staff.

Pit: Right away, Lady Palutena!

*As Palutena holds the staff in front of her, Pit holds onto it as well, and the two of them begin to glow as Palutena begins casting another spell*

Palutena: Deus lux est , et nos sumus in domum futurus incolumis nubibus Overworld ubi habitabit in gratiam pacis.

*Suddenly, spirals of rainbow colored light begin spinning around Pit and Palutena, and the two heroes begin to become overwhelmed with white light. At the last second, Palutena looks up*

Palutena: Take care, dear friends.

*Suddenly, there is a burst of light, and where Pit and Palutena once stood sprinkles golden dust, which evaporates before it hits the ground. Pit and Palutena have left the scene, but there may be another time when they may return, should destiny call for it.*

*Master Hand appears with Blujay, Star Fox, Pit and Palutena*

Crazy Hand has gone to take care of things at Final Destination. I have placed the Relics for the Star Fox Realm and the Kid Icarus Realm there, so they are temporarily open for travel. I suggest you leave now.

Departing Ways

*After many hours of discussion, Star Fox realized that they could no longer stay in the Metroid Realm... Every moment there, their own realm of the Lylat system was left undefended. Additionally, Palutena and Pit agreed to return back to Palutena's temple in the Kid Icarus Realm. After many hours, the Great Fox VII had self-generated enough energy to make a full hyper jump back to Corneria. Blujay, Fox, Falco, Krystal, Pit and Palutena met in the main hangar to say their last goodbyes to each other.*

Fox: Well, friends, thank you for all of your help. I'm glad we could stay and help as much as we could, but we must really be going.

*Blujay smirks as he places his hand in Fox's and shakes it*

Blujay: Of course--anything for old friends.

Pit: Anytime! If you need anything from the Overworld Army, I'm your angel!

Falco: Fighting beside you is always a pleasure, guys. Maybe in the future before one of us dies we can fight again!

*Falco gives Blujay and Pit hand-shakes with his feather hand*

Krystal: Thank you, both! I'll miss all of you.

*She gives hugs to Blujay, Pit, and Palutena*

Palutena: You are such honorable friends. You have my blessings. And speaking of blessings...

*Palutena turns to Blujay*

Palutena: Give me your hands. And take off your jacket.

*Blujay, raising an eyebrow, takes off his laser-and-bullet resistant jacket and places it on the ground, revealing a white armored vest underneath. His arms are now seething with the black, lava-like darkness, and it stings him just to move. But to the goddess' orders, he extends his arms to her. Palutena takes one arm in each of her hands.*

Palutena: Lumen desuper magnitudine tua purga tenebras . Auferte nequitiam ab anima viri istius, et animi puritatem suam , pacis et vitae.

*As she says these words, her green eyes glow a brilliant golden light, and the corruption from Blujay's arms begins to evaporate. After she finishes her spell, the corrupted charcoal skin turns back to Blujay's tan color, the cracks are sealed, and the pain is gone. Blujay is completely healed from his corruption.*

Blujay: Palutena! I... I don't know how to thank you!

*Palutena giggles*

Palutena: Let's just say you owe me one.

*She leans forward and gives Blujay a graceful hug, as a queen would to a noble knight. Fox laughs.*

Fox: Not to shower presents on Blujay or anything, but we kind of chipped in something else as well.

*Fox snaps his fingers, and a hangar crew nearby presses a command on a control panel nearby. A bay door from the side of the hangar opens, and on a moving platform enters a newly constructed Lightning's Breath, complete with all of its bells and whistles.

Falco: I put in some suggestions for tech in order to improve the shielding systems. Just remember, to maintain invincibility... Ugh, I can't believe I'm saying this, but "Do a barrel roll."

*Blujay laughs*

Blujay: It's perfect.

Fox: We took the schematics from what Cuefive gave us when your ship was damaged last time and made it from that. Everything should be back to the way it was before Travis destroyed it. We even plugged Cuefive back in there for you.

*Blujay takes Fox's hand and brings him in for a hug*

Blujay: You guys are the best! Thank you!

*Pit enters the conference room, a little queasy*

Pit: Ugh... I feel like I'm going to hurl after that takeoff. Bleh. Since when did you guys get so bad at flying?

*Behind him, Lady Palutena walks into the room as well, and places her hands on her hips*

Palutena: Pit, seriously, it's so unlike you to get sick of flying.

Pit: Sorry, Lady Palutena... Maybe it was the turbulence.

*Palutena laughs, and the two heroes of light walk towards the center table*

Palutena: Fox, you and the others have done an admirable job of saving us from the Planet Tyyris. You have my gratitude.

Pit: What's the plan, then? Are we going after Travis? Are we going to hunt down Gorea? Whatever it is, I'm ready for a fight!

Palutena: Now, now, Pit... We don't have the resources to do either of those. We'll have to be careful with what we do.

Pit: Oh, c'mon, Lady Palutena! I took down Hades, a foe that is beyond the strength of both Travis AND Gorea!

Palutena: AND you had the Three Sacred Treasures, something we don't have now. I don't want my best angel to get struck down so easily because he wasn't well prepared.

Pit: Right... Sorry, m'lady.

[TIME UNTIL ARRIVAL OF TERROR OF TYYRIS — 9 minutes]

*Star Fox arrives at the Great Fox VII in their Arwings and land in the hangar, which is slanted at an angle because of the ship’s wreckage position*

Fox: *Jumping out of his Arwing* Falco, get to the bridge! See if there’s anything you can do to help R.O.B. for getting the controls online! Make sure everyone in that control room is AT THEIR STATIONS when this thing is ready to fly!

Falco: You go it, Fox! *Lightning dashes in the direction of the nearest door, then continues to the bridge*

Fox: Krystal, I need you to make sure all of the other passengers are seated in and ready for take-off; Sonic, Amy, Lady Palutena, everyone!

Krystal: You got it, babe.

Fox: Blujay, follow me to the Engine Room. I hope your plan works.

Blujay: *Grimacing at his hurting hands* Trust me, it should.

*Fox opens his comlink*

Fox (via telepathic-comlink): Master Hand, how is it looking?

Master Hand (telepathically): Fox, the engine is almost complete. I'll need five more minutes to make it in functional condition.

Fox (telepath-comlink): Five minutes should be the amount of time it takes for us to get to you. Let's hope we're not too late!

*By now, Falco has made it to the bridge. Once he gets there, he activates his comlink again*

Falco: Fox, Crazy Hand and Pit are still out there lighting that thing up, but it's not budging.

Fox: Call them in, then. We can't lose anyone else.

Falco: Affirmative.

*Switches to Pit's and Crazy Hand's frequency*

Falco: Crazy Hand, Pit, get back to the Great Fox. We won't have time for dilly dallying once this bird's functional.

Pit: Got it, on my way back.

Not to fear, Hands!

*Pit flies down from above the clouds on his wings; on his hand, a metal gauntlet. After pulling a lever with the other hand, the gauntlet suddenly shifts around its gadgetry until it evolves into what looks like a cross between a rocket launcher and a mini gun*

Say hello to my little friend—the Demon Slayer!

*Pit released the onslaught of missiles and gunfire on the beast, which also drew its attention away. When the little laser burrowers began firing on him, he retreated upwards into the clouds again, reloaded his cannon with another round, and flew downwards to make another run*

*Pit pulled out the comlink R.O.B. gave him*

R.O.B.! How’s it looking?

*Fox and Falco return to the outpost in their Arwings and land on the landing pad*

Fox: Who needs a ride to the Great Fox?

Falco: You know what? It might be a better idea to stay here.

Fox: We have resources on the Great Fox. We don't here.

Falco: We have fresh air here. If Travis comes back and blows up the Great Fox... Outer space doesn't have air.

Fox: ...Hm...

*Fox turns to the crew, who is standing by*

Fox: Who wants to go where?

*Fox turns from Blujay*

Fox: ... The Traveler needs energy in order to survive. After a blast like Meta Knight's, he lost all of his initial energy... so where would—

*His eyes widen*

Fox: My Arwing!

*He runs for the Arwing hangar*
