🗡。・:*:・゚ The relationship had become something of routine, if you could call it a relationship. She’d sneak into his territory, they’d spend an evening together--usually undressed--and she’d leave.With a sigh, the Kaldorei turned around in the bed so that she could face him. It was a mistake, really, she could see the desperation in his eyes. The need for her to be more than a good time every so often. But that was not who she was, it was not the game that she played. But his face...it was so soft, and so innocent, that it made her question if her game was really necessary.
She sits up, not bothering to pull the blanket around her chest--he’d seen it many times now, anyhow. With a sigh, she touched his arm. “That doesn’t sound like a good idea. Careful, you’re starting to sound dependent.” But it was a joke, of course, the slight twinkle in her eye the only indication. Maybe they both were getting too dependent.
❛ Does it scorn you——what's been done? Does it leave you aching with un-fulfillment, ravaged by animosity? Does it challenge your natural place in this world? ❟
His questions were as quick as arrowfire, no pause for reflection left on purpose. Whatever malice had corrupted him upon his first death had not dissipated by the third; he was egging the other. Creatures of kin, whether they acknowledged it or not, they were. It was his duty then, a Prince still, to weave his way beneath the other's flesh, like an eager needle, and stitch up whatever remnants he could find. Had this one been loyal? He couldn't remember the face. Was it he who had been scrambled then? Or was this one truly a deserter? Too many questions. He was going to seem suspicious.

The Little Things
@pitiflame
No matter how many times she’s told herself to just look away, to just ignore it, she was just unable to keep her eyes off of anyone who had ended up attracting the strange creatures she’d come to realize were faeries. The little bastards were unnaturally drawn, it seemed, to people who could see them, and loved nothing more than to make as much of a nuisance of themselves as was physically possible.
Such nuisance making was what had drawn her eye to an unfamiliar young man and the small horde of pixies that targeted him, the tiny, iridescent creatures flitting about his head and doing their damnedest to make a mess of him. She couldn’t stop herself from following after them, waiting until the group was far enough away from any potential eavesdroppers before calling out.
“Y’know, salt keeps these little fuckers away.” She didn’t look directly at the pixies, not wanting to incur their attention upon herself. It also didn’t so much as occur to her that the young man might think her insane if he were unable to see the pixies himself, her being too confident that Sight is what had drawn them to him in the first place.

His curious emerald gaze narrowed slightly at the other man, yet the prince stood from his own seated position and walked over, adding a bit of a flirtatious sway to his hips as he walked. “You are ever so quiet and stoic,” Kael purred as he lowered himself next to Rommath, grinning as he extended a hand to take some of his raven hair between his fingers, playing with it gently.
“You can tell me whatever’s on your mind, you know.”

“There, now can we move past the mask thing please?!”
