[Marvel Snap] Pixel Variants (pt. 2)
Reddit User Phalanx22's was keen enough to notice that the majority, if not all of Marvel Snap's Pixel Variants are based upon old comic covers, interior artwork, promotional pieces, and statues/action figures.
Phalanx22 then took on the herculean task of finding what sources were used for nearly every one of Snap's Pixel Variants, and creating comparison graphics for others to observe.
As you can see, some of these are clearly based on artwork from the Marvel vs. Capcom series. Considering that Capcom famously rendered Marvel's characters with beautifully animated pixel art, this just makes Snap's substandard Pixel Variants all the more disappointing.
