Vixens, Dungeons, and Coyotes.
Ok, so there weren't actually coyotes at Ikasucon, but there were some exceptionally awesome people there. FIrst off, you have the lovely ladies from pixel-vixens, then Eric Wile was there, and you mustn't forget Lord Zed.
Noelle, Rev. Arielle, Cupcake, and Ms. Brooke Tanner were all pretty awesome, as well as being super cute and fun to talk to. If any of them had bit me, I definitely would've taken it as a compliment. All of their panels were awesome, even though I was unable to attend the Q&A due to a scheduling conflict at work... Stupid 3 to midnight job.
Aside from the guys and gals of Pixel-vixens, mustn't forget the hardworking Raiden who hosted the Burlesque show and stood guard at the girls booth; there was Eric Wile. While truthfully I'd never heard of him before the convention this year, I enjoyed both of the panels I went to that he was hosting. My only qualm was this one guy who sat directly in front of me at both and spent the entire panel contesting everything Mr. Wile said while at the same time plugging his own game that according to his own words had a "non-hambeast female character in it."
Then although I mentioned Lord Zed, i never made it to any of his panels, instead I played a pretty awesome table top game called "Super Dungeon" in which you can choose a character, and play theough a dungeon with trolls and goblins coming out of the woodworks to keep you from collecting the treasure.
So, all in all, I had an epic time at Ikasucon this year, from meeting the nice gals and guys from picel-vixens, to learning video game design from eric wile, and playing table-top and card games like Cards Against Humanity and Super Dungeon.
OH CRAP! I forgot to mention learning more new dances from Abracadabra, the same people I learned some new moves from last year as well! I also kept running into the gals from that dance troupe and ended up playing Cards Against Humanity with them. They were Really messed up, but in a good way because all the cards played in that game were amazingly hilarious.
