Just tried playing your Newlyn Hills for the first time today, and when it loaded it came up with "Game Data Incomplete. Not all game data could be loaded. The save game references neighbourhoods that have been uninstalled or otherwise are no longer available. If you continue playing, you will encounter missing data and may have unexpected results. If you save the game, there will be no way to recover the missing data." Only packs I'm missing are vampires and vintage glamour.
Heya pixeladventures, I hope you don’t mind if I publish this response in case someone else runs into this issue. I believe this is because I have the Vintage Glamour SP and the Vampire GP installed in my game, and even though I didn’t use items from those packs in the save, there was probably still some data from those packs embedded in it and hence it is giving you this error.
I found this thread on the EA Support Forum which says this can happen if you uninstall a pack and then try to play a previously saved game. Crinrict recommends NOT saving, but quitting out and repairing your game (which I believe you do through Origin - I’ve never tried that but there are more instructions in that thread). Apparently that is the best way to proceed without losing any data. (I would also make sure you back up your Saves folder if you haven’t already.)
If you don’t want to mess with that (I wouldn’t blame you), you could quit out and remove the Newlyn Hills save file from your Saves folder. If a lot of people are running into this issue, I might have to uninstall those two packs from my game and make a new save file.
Did anyone else run into this error? If so, were you able to keep playing? What did you do?
