Welcome, one and all, to Binary System Podcast, starring identical twins on opposite sides of the country, (one in North Carolina, one in California).

Several months ago, our weekly Skype sessions accidentally turned into a podcast. You know, as they do. Review: A Red Sun Also Rises

I’ve heard it said that the problem with writing science-fiction mysteries is that you have aliens or devices that don’t conform to all the rules of our world, but there still has to be a strong internal logic to the story. Otherwise the mystery doesn’t make sense; there isn’t a puzzle that can be revealed to have a satisfying answer.

Mark Hodder took that challenge, and wrote a great mystery that happens in another world, surrounded by creatures and technologies that have never existed, but it still makes perfect sense, and it’s very satisfying.

Review: I Know That Voice!

Since their modest beginnings animation has always been a part of modern culture. Pushing the limits of film and story telling with thousands of hand drawn images falling in perfect secession in front of a camera and capturing the imagination of both young and old. The world wouldn’t be the same without animation and animation wouldn’t be the same without some of the greatest actors that no one has seen.

Thankfully due to I Know That Voice! the voices of the world’s favorite cartoon characters can be matched to a face and their talent can be admired. Caught often in their natural habitat the documentary explores the the history and the hard work that voice actors have put into their craft.
