We have decided to make a public Collabs page. Here, if you ask us to, we will link to your tumblr so that others who may want to collab can see who is willing :)

We have subcategories again:

1. Legacy: You want a sim to marry into your family? Have kids? Grow old?

2. RP Relationship: You play slowly or in real-time and are looking for a partner for you sim?

3. RP Friend: Just looking for someone to play a small role in your game? But maybe to pop up once or twice more?

4. Pictures: Just looking for a short one-time picture collab?

5. Other: Looking for something that doesn’t fit above? Just say what and we will write it down!

If you would like to be on our collab page, then just send us a submit and say what you are looking for and we will add you!

Hey Guys!

We were wondering what you guys would think if we made a page for collabs? Like a list of people looking to collab sorted by type? So maybe “Legacy” or “Longterm” or “Shortterm” and you guys could sign up on the page and see who else is looking?

Hi there - this is a wonderful idea and I don't want to cause issues at all, but may I ask why this is TS3 only and not all sims games? :)

Hello! This was started to combat the extreme about of negativity going around the TS3 simblr community. The other communities seem to have a lot less issues with hate and bullying, and as TS4 is relatively new, everyone is relatively at the same level. The mods also all only play TS3. Having said that, we have absolutely no issue with it if people would like to repeat this idea for other games! It would be great to see it spread! But as you may be aware, running Pixelbuddies is some work and the mods do this next to full time jobs etc, so adding another game means we have a lot more work which is just not possible for us at the moment even though we would love to! We want to see how well it works before we consider expanding.

Hey Guys,

We just wanted to say thank you to everyone who has joined in so far! We have managed to make quite a few matches and hope they are working out!

Just a quick note if you are a protégé:

if you have been matched and your buddy is helping you out, please send us an IM that your match is working! In this way we can mark you off our list ;) Feedback is important to us, as it’s difficult to keep an overview otherwise.

Hey Guys,

We have had 50 people sign up so far! We thought it may help if we put some categories where we have a lot of buddies or are looking for some:

Buddies

We have a lot of simblrs looking for help from people who are CC creators (objects and clothes mainly), from those with character blogs that mainly take pictures of characters and have character pages and backstories, and storywriters! So if you would like to help we would appreciate it!

Protégés

We have a lot of simblrs looking to help people with a mumblr, and very good buddies that are skilled in photoshop editing images. You don’t need to be a beginner to be a protégé!

In addition we would like to say that we are a small team all with jobs, so please be patient. We try to match not only by categories but also by looking at your simblrs personally. It takes us a little time.

It has not yet even been 24h and we already have 33 people! Thank you so much for spreading this around and signing up!

On a side note, we have waaaaaay more buddies than people looking for a buddy (not something we expected), so would people like the idea that we maybe match up some buddies with buddies that have similar styles? Maybe just to meet some new simmers while you wait for more people to need a buddy?
