I absolutely love how the Life is Strange comics and true colors go perfectly hand in hand.

[very mild spoilers for the Life is Strange comics and 'Steph's story' ahead!] For example, in true colors on the rooftop with Steph, she says 'I still have friends in Seattle who book shows...' referring to her friends, Pixie, Tammi, Dex and Dwight from 'the high seas' band in Seattle who were prominent in the Life is Strange 1 comics! (And of course Steph herself appears in the comics as a stage manager for them.) As well as in Steph's book (Life is Strange: Steph's story) where the high seas (more prominently Pixie!) also make an appearance!

While the Life is Strange comics are not canonical, I love the story and how they capture the little details, as well as how perfectly thought out Steph's lore is as it translates from 'Life is strange: before the storm', to 'Life is strange: true colors', to 'Steph's story' and within the comics.

P.s, can we talk about how Steph has more individual features within official life is strange media than LITERAL MAX CAULFIELD? Crazy.
