I would do it myself but I have terrible luck on that website and most of the things I post on there are deleted and/or left untranslated.

That, and I don’t have a very good reputation on there because I keep asking people to approve and/or translate my posts because I despise being ignored.

I tried asking the same thing in other places, but I had no luck whatsoever.

Our Youthful Days

Obon (お盆): An annual Japanese festival to commemorate and remember one’s deceased ancestors. It is celebrated from the 13th to 15th day of the 7th month of the lunar calendar. It is said that during this period, the ancestors’ spirits will come to visit their families; at the end of the festival, lanterns are used to guide the spirits back to their graves.

Hozuki (鬼灯): Physalis alkekengi (also known as Chinese lantern plant/Japanese lantern plant) is a plant species native to Asia, characterised by the large, bright red papery calyces covering its fruits. Due to its resemblance to lanterns, it is often used as decorations and offerings during Obon, and is seen as a symbol of the festival.
