Hiiii! That percy imagine was great! Do you think there'll ever be a part 2 maybe...? (Puppy dog eyes)
“The Greek gods.” You deadpanned. “You’re insane, I’m calling the cops.” You started walking in the direction of the diner you mentioned to that thing that tried to kill you.
“Hey, I’m serious! It’s dangerous out there now. If one has found you then the signals out, more will. I have to get you to a safe place.” he said following you down the snowy street.
“What mental institution did you escape from?” you asked sarcastically. He stepped in front of you and the look on his face stopped you in your tracks.
He was serious. He was serious. This was probably the most serious face he’s ever pulled in his life, but there was more. It was.. protectiveness. He genuinely wanted to keep you safe, whether the bad things were just in his head or in the real world too.
You put your hands up. “Okay, okay. Tell me about everything then.”
You spent most of the time talking in a back booth of Rosie’s diner. You ordered bacon and scrambled eggs, a sort of breakfast for midnight snack. Percy ordered a blueberry smoothie, which he was disappointed at because it “wasn’t the right blue.”
Luckily the only other people in the diner was a old trucker and a couple of stoners who weren’t paying attention to our crazy conversation.
“So, that thing, was called Lamia.” Percy said slurping the smoothie.
“What did she want with me?” you asked.
“Well obviously she wanted to kill you and probably eat you.”
You shivered. “This is all just so confusing.”
“I know it is. I’ve know about this since I was 12 but I still don’t get everything.” He agreed.
“So tell me more about this place you’re going to take me. Camp Half-Blood?”
“Well it’s better to just wait and see it. But it’s beautiful there. There like this kind of ‘weather dome’ over the camp so its always warm and nice, unless Zeus wants it to snow. Which actually we should get going. I’m probably going to get in trouble anyways.” He said drinking the rest of his smoothie and sliding out of the booth. You tossed some money on the table and followed him.
He grabbed his leather jacket and asked you to hold it. You did and he started pulling his hoodie off. You tried not to stare at the long sleeve shirt riding up, showing some skin, and a nice set of abs. He’d told you about his girlfriend Annabeth, and you weren’t one to go after another girls’ guy.
He ruffled the static out of his hair and handed you the hoodie.
You gave him the jacket back and thanked him.
“So tell me, why are you going to get in trouble when we get there?”
He gave the signature ‘bad boy smirk’, held his head low and shook it.
“I kinda snuck out. I went to visit my mom. Usually I stay with her during winter break, but I wanted to train some more, but..” He laughed. “I missed her.”
You hopped on the R train going to Long Island and sat next to each other. There was only one other person in the car but other than them you were alone.
The subway screeched around a turn in the tunnels and threw Percy’s body into your’s. He righted both of you and the lights flickered.
“What the..” Percy said looking up at the lights.
Something was off. The hairs on your arms stood up. And you looked around the car. “Percy..”
“We’re alone.” You whispered.
“Well, yeah of cour- ah shit.” He cursed. “Really?” he said to no one imparticular while looking up.
“Yes really Percy Jackson.” We both whipped around at the voice.
A black girl Percy’s age stood at the end of the train car, wearing a cheerleaders uniform.
One of her legs was bronze metal, and the other was a donkey leg. You remember learning in school about things like her. Basically a she-demon.
She hissed in your direction and you notice long, sharp, needle-like teeth.
Percy pulled his pen/sword thing out of his pocket and stood in front of you.
Slowly you took steps backwards. You tried not to be obvious but yet she still noticed the slight movement.
“Aww is the new little half-blood scared? Don’t worry, it’ll be quick and it might not even hurt.”
Percy surged forward like a tide and swiped at her midsection but despite her legs she was quicker than you’d think. She hopped on the seats and ran toward you. Percy intercepted and they started to play deadly game of cat and mouse. You wanted to help but there wasn’t much you could do. You didn’t have a weapon and you wouldn’t even know what to do.
You glanced left and right and saw a fire extinguisher hanging on the wall. You ran towards it and started wrenching it off. It wasn’t budging.
Behind you Percy made a mistake. He misstepped and stumbled, not ready. She took her chance and slashed her nails at his ribcage.
He cried out and fell on one knee. His leather jacket fell in ribbons there and blood soaked through his shirt. Percy struggled to his feet but she had already come running at you. You yanked at the extinguisher harder and finally it started coming loose.
It tore away from wall finally and you heaved the heavy red object around at her. It hit her square in the face and her head whipped to the side sickeningly. She turned back and I noticed her once cute nose was now extremely crooked and bleeding. You squealed and swung it at her again. It caught again on her head for she was stunned from the last blow. She crumpled to the ground unmoving. And then she just disappeared, gone, just like that.
Percy stumbled over holding his side, but still smiling brightly. “Well that was pretty easy considering I’ve already killed her like 3 times.”
He grappled around in his pocket and shoved a small candy in his mouth. He started breathing easier and even looked better.
“Come on, let’s get to camp.”
Okay, so I wasn’t really expecting to write another part. I kinda ended the last one so I would have too, but I tried hard to kinda make what you wanted xD sorry ‘bout that :)
