Leon looked after Rhydon as it recovered from the accident in which it lost its partner, Leon’s father. After it bonded to Leon, they began training together. They decided it should evolve following the first Championship battle it participated in. A couple of years after losing the title, Leon decided to retire the old, reliable Rhyperior, so he can live his golden years in luxury.

WOOLOO ♀ x5 | [Azalea, Jasmine, Lily, Poppy, Saffron] If its fleece grows too long, Wooloo won't be able to move. Cloth made with the wool of this Pokémon is surprisingly strong. OT: Leon Malik Level: 5 Type: Normal Abilities: Fluffy / Run Away Hatched in Hammerlocke | 4/20 This small flock of Wooloo are sisters, all sired by Hop’s Dubwool. On the whole, they’re a docile lot, though they can get worked up by the Mareep and Skiddo they share a field with. They take sudden shifts in excitability in good stride, and cherish their foreign counterparts. Lily has gone to live with Leon’s best friend, Mads.

MAREEP ♀ x3 | [Butterscotch, Caramel, Toffee] Its fleece grows continually. In the summer, the fleece is fully shed, but it grows back in a week. OT: Leon Malik Level: 13 Type: Electric Abilities: Static Met on Kalos Route 12 (Lv. 13) | 2/20 Leon caught a small flock of Mareep while on holiday in Kalos. They’ve taken nicely to life in Galar, thanks to their adaptability. They adore being petted, thus Leon has invested in rubber gloves and shoes to give them all the affection they desire without endangering himself.

SKIDDO ♀ | [Tatties] Thought to be one of the first Pokémon to live in harmony with humans, it has a placid disposition. OT: Leon Malik Level: 10 Type: Grass Ability: Sap Sipper Met on Kalos Route 5 (Lv. 10) | 2/20 In Kalos, Leon absolutely fell in love with Skiddo. Tatties is very energetic, and enjoys romping around the field with anyone who can match her energy -- Leon being no exception. He’s been trying to learn how to make cheese with her milk, but it’s a whole process.

MILTANK ♀ | [Pepper] It produces over five gallons of milk a day. The higher the quality of the pastures it lives in, the richer and tastier its milk becomes. She’s rather taken to being the de facto mother of the ranch, ensuring every Pokemon in the fields is content, and that the atmosphere is peaceful and happy. Additionally, she’s happy to know that her nutritious milk goes to people and Pokemon who need it.

Based on its clipped tail and missing patches of fur, they suspect it was mistreated. Despite that past, Eevee is full of boundless energy and is thriving in Leon’s care.

OT: Raihan Malik Level: 10 Type: Dragon Ability: Hydration Hatched in Hammerlocke | 5/20 After helping Raihan look after the Goomy Party for the months following their hatching, Leon found himself claimed by one in particular. It’s more of a lap Pokemon than a battler, but Leon adores it all the same. He wouldn’t want to hurt Goodra’s feelings, after all.

Traded to Mustard. She was a powerful force and an overeager member of Leon’s team from the day they met. Tyranitar trained as hard as Charmeleon and defeated the previous Champion alongside Leon, but suffered greatly in the off season, during which there were few opportunities to vent its high energy. Leon left Tyranitar in the care of Mustard so that it could battle students to its heart’s content. He still visits it on occasion and they test one another’s strength.

Budew → ROSELIA ♂ | [Oliver] Roselia raised on clean drinking water are known to grow vividly colored flowers. OT: Leon Malik Level: 60 (upon release) Type: Grass | Poison Ability: Poison Point Nature | Characteristic: Calm | Quick to flee Met on Route 4 (Lv. 13) a long, long time ago... Released in Postwick. Raised from a Budew, Roselia loved Leon dearly, and he had great fun battling alongside him for some years following their first Championship victory. Over time, however, Leon took notice that Roselia cared more for pleasing its trainer than for the act of battling itself. He released it in Postwick so that they could visit whenever Leon came home, without forcing it to battle. Although it reportedly visits with the Magnolias and Leon’s family, Leon himself hasn’t seen it since he lost his title.

KUBFU ⊙ Kubfu trains hard to perfect its moves. The moves it masters will determine which form it takes when it evolves. OT: Leon Malik Level: 10 (upon trade) Type: Fighting Ability: Inner Focus Nature | Characteristic: Modest | Often lost in thought Met at Master Dojo (Lv. 1) a long, long time ago... Traded to Mustard. Leon met Kubfu as Champion, while learning focus and discipline at the Master Dojo. The pair bonded greatly on the Isle, but after being unable to locate a tower to complete their training, Leon was forced to give up Mustard’s trials and return to Wyndon. Leon felt immense guilt for failing Kubfu, feeling that it would never reach its potential in his care. In an act that greatly impacted Kubfu’s self confidence and trust in trainers, Leon relinquished it to Master Mustard and left.

Preferring to observe from a distance, Aegislash is the least social of Leon's team. It values its space and only allows its most trusted friends to touch it, though you wouldn’t be able to guess from how much amusement it takes in letting Leon playfully wield it like a sword and shield.
