Gone are the days of a gym trainer still trying to find her footing at the gym and prove to herself and others that she was worthy of the badge. Jasmine is outwardly against the rebuilding of Ecruteak Tower. It’s a place that deserves respect and knocking it down just because it’s an eyesore doesn’t sit well with her. She’s not about to sit idly by and let it happen either.

She is history.

Her grandmother hoarded gemstones like a dragonite, plucked each one out of that little box and said, “This is Arcanine’s Eye, for protection,” or, “Here is Spinel, and that is for beauty.” 

When she passes away, Olivia inherits the box, inherits the stones, inherits the island.  

She inherits loneliness, as well, but that is a resource in which she had always been rich.

NELL DALE / 30 / HOENN SANCTUARY OWNER

She’s born in the bottom of the sea.

She knows this because of how the sky looks like rippled glass. It’s always been that way, ever since she’d stood with her toes on the edge of the world, her arms above her head, the water below. 

Two deep breaths, then three... 

She dives.

A little girl sells clamperl rings on roadsides, empty shells, milotic scales, and when she looks at that glass sky, she promises to make up for it all one day.

Nell is the former Hoenn Champion, but now runs a Pokémon Sanctuary and rest house with her husband, Joshua Dale. Fortunately, she is much more of a people person than he is. She likes to enter her bug pokémon in cute contests, and makes her own organic pokémon food called Pokémunch.

NEEDS: Friends and some enemies. Old rivals and challengers. Volunteers to play with and groom the pokémon.

they all loved him. maybe that was his problem. his family, so kind and close, coddled him. babied him. the sick boy. his uncle worried; obsessive and controlling and misguided in his love. he had done well, he'd shown them that. but his fall came with the loss of a dear friend. his grief and his asthma. small and weak and broken. stay here. don't leave. get well. heal. he stayed, gave up on his grand adventure and fell into a sadness he couldn't seem to crawl out of. he remained that way to them over the years; sick and vulnerable and in need of their protection. not truly a man but instead forever the sick child who'd come to live with them years ago. in time he grew restless with his quiet life in verdanturf, itching to travel, to leave. to taste the freedom he'd had years and years ago. don't leave. get well. 

he stayed but couldn't seem to learn how to heal.
