"Give it back."
The slits narrowed just slightly, as it was a natural reaction upon the rather excruciating beam from the afternoon's sun. It was actually quite ludicrous, to the actual subject regarded as a creature of a myth— when humans take it for a fact that vampires cannot affront the sunlight. His feet soon making its way into the shade behind the towering trees, Killian reopened an eye as he wore a subtle grin to himself. Wouldn't it be a shocker if one, such as I, admitted that I actually quite hold a bit of relish upon the idea of light? Why, it utterly contrasts my elemental presence. The distant words that were mumbled amidst the diverse pace and sounds of footsteps, faint hums of musics passing by the vampire's ears— were all subdued against his offhand spurt of thoughts. The opaque sight caused by the dazed mind, soon regained its focus as the one's unearthly red orbs trailed over to the piece of paper that he managed to pause before. Is it a photo?
Pale hand, one in the pocket of his jeans— extended down to leniently pick up the piece. Whilst quirking a single brow to identify the figures in the snapshot, Killian muttered out a faint apology to a man who gave him a small scowl upon bumping against the figure that made a sudden halt. He could only let a faint chuckle part his lips, his golden orbs soon trailing back to the photo— attempting to, at least. Upon momentarily laying his eyes upon the piece, his gaze could only dart up to find a taller figure right before him. The male's eyes, his labored breathing— presumably upon his effort in trying to find the piece of photo in the male's hands; gave enough idea to indicate that he was the owner.
"Give it back."
No words of courtesy, nor kindness could be found in the taller one's candid request. Or demand, to be more exact. Ah, it was a great chance for the amoral beast that grasped the chance of opportunity for his entertainment; it wouldn't quite fit the piece to his characteristics if he decided to amiably return the item to the supposed owner. Contradictory to the stranger's request, Killian only decided to etch on a wicked grin as he waved the photo next to his features; spark of amusement quite obviously welling up in his celestial orbs.
"I've learned, believe it or not— in the time span that you can't quite imagine... that words of gratitude are supposed to be given prior to one's request, my dear."
