Are there any terms for a sentient system? Like, when it feels like the System wants someone in control, or the System wants something, or the System is sad (affecting people inside it), etc?

Sentiant Functions maybe?

A system function that can communicate with the system members in some way, shape, or form. Can be via having members that embody it (see "tienmate"), or simply producing thoughts that system members can hear. Easily mistaken as a sign of "faking" plurality, given these thoughts sound like "i want [x] introjected" or "what if i make [x] as a layer?", but this is a fairly normal thing to occur.

how does a sidesystem differ from a subsystem?

Sidesystems/parallel systems are Side By Side while Subsystems is a headmate having their own system.

what is an outernaut and a perinaut? (hopefully I spelled those right lol)

Outernaut: An alternative to 'host'. A system member who is primarily responsible for fronting and external matters/daily life. A system may have one, multiple, or no system members in this role.

Perinaut: An alternative to 'co-host' or 'secondary host'. A system member who is not primarily responsible, but holds a close secondary responsibility for fronting and external matters/daily life. A system may have one, multiple or no system members in this role.

iz there a term for when an alter iz abusive / harmful? one of our alterz iz abusive but i dont want to uze the term persecutor becauze he doeznt do it to protect us or becauze of internalized anger/etc, he'z just.. a bad person..

Trechtor.

A system member who actively malicious/abusive. They (may) target those outside and within the system. They're currently extremely reluctant to change but may in the future.

I think we're out of the loop, what does Exotrauma mean and how is Exotraumagenic different from just Traumagenic ?

Exotrauma: Refers to trauma related to events that did not happen to the physical body, such as a fictive who struggles with trauma regarding the events of their canon.

So exotraumagenic can definitely fall under or be a more specific type of traumagenic system! Its just "a system formed by trauma, that didnt happen to the body" hopefully that helps :0!

[dormancy cw] i hope this is the right place to ask but do you know how to handle everyone else in your system just seeming to suddenly go dormant? it's been a while now and im just really worried and unsure on what to do

When this happened to us, it was due to stress and a traumatic event and we sadly had to wait it out until eventually members started coming out.. but maybe trying to just communicate with them or send them some kind of message via innerworld? Otherwide Im unsure :(!

I hope it gets better anon and hopefully followers have some more advice!!
