Three plants and a slight redesign of Fi
my colleague is in the office right now and one of our previously sad looking office plants has actually completely regenerated and has flowers which we didn’t even know it could do
these plants are too damn happy without us there

Quite glad our new babies survived with their heat pack! I was worried since it’s been negative but they are all adorable and healthy!
the best part about working at a garden center is that everyone is obsessed with plants and I'll be helping a customer or something and hear my coworkers shouting across the lot "LOOK AT HOW PRETTY THIS IS"
you seem to be some sort of plant goddess so, i was wondering if i could ask for some advice? i just got my first two plants ever, ones a pony tail palm and the other is a rose quarts cactus.. i know they are supposed to be very hardy plants but i want them to thrive instead of just survive yknow? so if you have any advice for me i would greatly appreciate it, if you dont thats fine too, i just thought you seemed like a reliable source as opposed to random website. =)
omfg yes I would be happy to help! so for both of them, you want to make sure that you’re keeping them inside and that they’re getting only filtered or indirect sunlight. for the ponytail, when you water it, don’t hit the stalks or bulb, but only water the soil around it. they’re pretty easy to keep alive as long as you remember that and water it maybe twice a week with just a little bit of water. for the for the cactus, it can tolerate more sunlight than the ponytail (because it is a cactus after all) so if you’d want to put this closer to a window then that’d be fine. as for watering goes, I’m gonna say you can get away with watering it once a week, or to just watch it and only water it a little bit when you notice the soil starts to get really dry and loose. hope this helps! ^-^
