Wanting to Socialize & Befriend

Today, the young ghostly adventurer and wanderer known as Marie felt unusual. Normally she would isolate herself and explore the uncharted and or the forbidden lands, however, she lost the feeling. For once, she wanted to socialize, and decided to push herself out into the more populated areas of the world around her. With each passing step, her timidity pulled her away slightly, giving doubt and anxiety on the decision that was made, but Marie tugged on her Pikachu-like hood, and shoved it all away as far as possible; finally making it outside into the streets. She felt determined to possibly reach out to someone and converse for a few, although she tripped and fell, causing some second hand embarrassment.
《Why did this have to happen, especially when I felt so brave…?》Marie thought as she got up, and backed away. An attempt at socialization was much harder than it looked.
