I tried to find a taco shop called Fuzzy’s. I found it in both Yelp! and Foursquare. I looked in LinkedIn and did not find any results. What was interesting to me was that one app gave it great reviews and the other did not. The people that posed on Yelp! had a more negative opinion about the taco shop. While the people on Foursquare said it was a great find. If I were new to town I would still probably try it just because the good reviews seems better than the negative. Being new to town using apps like these are a great way to find places you have never heard of before. I am familiar with the streets of Lincoln so I wouldn’t use an app like Google Maps but if you did not know the area it is a simple, yet effective way to find a place. Simply type the destination and press start. As I am a freshman college student I am always looking for good places to eat off campus that are cheap. Foursquare had sales and discounts posted which I thought was a huge help.
