Witchy Nail Polish vs. Nature

I'm torn over continuing to use my designated "witchy" nail polish since it's mostly made of synthetic compounds and petroleum products, but I don't want to just send it to a landfill either. It's charged for confidence-boosting so maybe if I use it now, I'll have the confidence to make the right decision on it long-term.

Me, a PoC: Why are old ppl always Cursing™ young ppl.

Me to my niece & nephews: Go ahead, go right on ahead and kill me and see. I will hunt your every daydream and nightmare, you will never know a moments peace, when you close your eyes I will be there to pry them open. When you think you've seen the last of me I'll be right behind you. So gonhead, run my blood pressure up.

Me: It's so weird how them old people be puttin curses on kids.

My nephew constantly have terrible nightmares. At least that's what I can assume they are, it involves him waking up between the time of 1:30 am to 3:30 am, it's actually kinda scary when he wakes up 3 nights in a row at 2am, but I digress.

So tonight, when he woke up, I let him follow me to my room, and let him watch me dig through dressers, and move things around, and I took a stone, just a regular stone, nothing special about it aside from it being a milky brown color and is fairly smooth and somewhat oval in shape.

I squat down and gave it to him and told him it would protect him from bad dreams to just keep it in his pocket and he'll be safe. Well it shut him right up, because let me tell you, I can hardly understand him when he wasn't crying so have him explain what's wrong with him while he is crying is nearly impossible.

Here's to a good night's sleeping and banished nightmares.
