Rising producer, Plainstrider, returns with a smooth and melodic new house original entitled “With Me.”

With a laidback and melodic structure, “With Me” is layered with great piano chords, high string melodies, an excellent use of vocal chops and effects, and plucky melody lines that create a solid melodic house vibe throughout. Gliding through almost five minutes of positive emotions, “With Me” is a great uplifting sound for these short winter days and long winter nights. I really like the structure of this track, as Plainstrider adds and takes away elements seamlessly providing an exciting and very easy to listen to track. The Marred Mother - Plainstrider/Elf Concept

My current thoughts for the Elf analog for the Marred Mother plays on your usual stereotypes: Nature loving, knife-eared, pole-proportioned freakazoids, but in a much more uncanny way derived from how they lived following millions of years.

Plainstriders are exceptionally tall, with some being almost three meters in height, yet exceptionally thin, thinner than humans despite their height. They’re covered in a fur coat that’s both thick in terms of density and in terms of individual follicle size, almost spine-like when it comes to the back and arms. The fur coloring is almost always darker. Plainstriders eyes are incredibly wide, owing to their nocturnal lifestyle, and their thick fur hides both their nose and mouth, at first glance making their eyes their only facial feature. Their ears are very long and furred, not too dissimilar to a Fennec Fox’s, and capable of a very wide degree of rotation - Ears make up an integral part of Plainstrider communication and body language.

Plainstrider arms are proportionally longer still, their palms reaching down to their knees, and their fingers are also terrifyingly long and tipped with lethal looking claws. Their legs are plantigrade and pawed, and they have a short - but thick - tail that acts as a counterweight to their fast sprints.

Lorde - Homemade Dynamite (Plainstrider Remix)

Australian producer, Plainstrider, returns with a super fresh remix of Lorde’s hit, “Homemade Dynamite.”

Going with a very vibey chill trap approach, Plainstrider has really provided an excellent facelift to Lorde’s current smash. Smooth piano chords act as the foundation for this track, providing the perfect platform for Lorde’s excellent vocal performance in the verses. Seamless transitions lead to some addicting chill trap drops that introduce a heavy low-end, rolling hi-hats, and slashing topline melodies. Overall, Plainstrider has created a truly enjoyable chill trap track as well as a great remix, making “Homemade Dynamite” his own.
