For Saturday Morning Doodle this weekend, this doodle captures the transition from a cold, rainy season into the refreshing vibrancy of spring, influenced by my recent visit to Southern California. I used a dark blue polychromos pencil on sketch paper, the piece moves from a somber, rain-drenched scene to one filled with sunlight and blooming life. The shift is marked by the parting of heavy clouds, to seeing palm trees, and lush blossoms—a visual metaphor for hope and renewal after a period of gloom.
