Swapping out planar reflections for screen space reflections
While the planar reflections looked really convenient it also came with a lot of problems. I’m talking warnings all over the place and visual bugs in the editor. For this reason I started experimenting with other options and techniques. I finally decided to use SSR for the reflections and I’m happy the result. As far as I know this is a lot more performance friendly aswel.

I have also tested “Wet Stuff”, which is a great asset thus far. Working with wet volumes makes sure stuff actually looks wet and beside that you don’t have to change any shaders, which is great.
